"A Brand New Day" is an unfinished concept demo by AJR. The concept demo is similar to We're On Our Way, sharing the same melody. The demo was later re-worked into "Wish You Pain" by the artist Andy Grammer (of which was written with the help of Ryan Met and Jack Met).

The lyrics elaborated by AJR were adapted to be interpreted by JVKE, to be part of the Original Soundtrack of the movie Clifford, The Big Dog Red, 2021.
