"The way we wrote 'Birthday Party,' we tried to get inspired by like, a really good movie. You know like, in a movie when it cuts to a new scene and it’s like a close-up of the character and then it kind of zooms out and reveals wherever they are. Like they’re on a therapist’s bed! Then you realize the scenario they’re in, like starting a scene out of nowhere. We tried to do that with 'Birthday Party.'"
