Staying Up For Love is an unreleased demo of the song "Staying Up" by Matoma and The Vamps. The song contains similar lyrics to "Staying Up" and is also presumed to be a demo/scrapped version of the released song that originally had an AJR feature. There is no confirmation that this is the case however, just assumptions made in the AJR community. Additionally, AJR is not credited in any form in the song credits on Spotify and Apple Music.[1][2]
The AJR Demo version of this song is longer than the version by Matoma, coming in at 3:22 whereas the version by Matoma is 3:10. It consists of the same instrumental with minor tweaks, and the vocals are Jack from AJR. Not much is known about this song and recordings of it are very hard to come across online.
