Super AJR Bros. was a minigame accessed by clicking on the arcade machine behind the third door in OKO World.[1] It was a parody of the extremely popular 1985 video game, Super Mario Bros, containing AJR-themed content. The game was made available to the public on April 24, 2021.

Description[]

The environment was very similar to the classic Super Mario environment found in many of the first levels of Mario games, except with lampposts and the trees from the cover of OK Orchestra.

Gameplay[]

The player could play as either Adam, Jack, or Ryan. Once the player had died while playing as one of these characters, they couldn't play with the same character again, meaning the player had 3 lives.

The gameplay was very similar to the original Super Mario Bros; the arrow keys were used to move and jump. It included breakable bricks and ? blocks, however instead of coins the player could collect music notes, and instead of mushrooms, the powerups were copies of OK Orchestra. If the player collected one copy of OKO, they would grow bigger, and if they collected another, they gained the ability to shoot fireballs by pressing space.

There were two types of enemy in the game: small violin creatures, which acted the same as Goombas, and trumpets which bounced towards the player similar to Koopa Paratroopas. The player could either stomp on their heads or shoot fireballs at them to kill them. If the player touched one from any other side, they would die or lose their powerup.

The game was somewhat glitchy, especially on low-end devices, and would often cause the player to die randomly even if they hadn't touched an enemy.
